Miracle of Moon Split in Badeuzzaman Saeed Al-Nawrasi through Letters of Light

Abstract

Since miracle is supernatural thing, Allah the Almighty presents and gives it to a Prophet among others to help prove his message and to support him. Among the greatest miracles he acquired was the event of splitting the moon in the sky which is out of human strength. Muslims and nonbelievers who were by the Prophet at that time saw the act. The Prophet showed them each half. Allah the Almighty made this to prove that to nonbelievers Mohammed (Peace be upon him), is his messenger and to certify what he says and call them for. The grand sheikh Al-Nawrasi paid a lot of attention in his writings to the miracles of the Prophet, among them، the one of splitting the moon. This research explains clearly the ideas and opinions of shaikh on proving the event of splitting the moon presenting straight, proper evidence from Holly Qur’an and Sunnah, and it explains, in detail, that the splitting of the moon happened only once. It also covers all suspicions of the miracle deniers and sufficient answer to them. In the conclusion there is usefulness and wisdom of the miracle which happened to our Prophet.
